Patricia “Patti” Creel Loyd

Patricia “Patti” Creel Loyd of Jemison, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the age of 53.

She was faithful, devoted, and loving. Patti was born on December 7, 1972. She was the daughter of the late James Lewis Creel and Patsy McNiese Creel, both have preceded her in death.

Patti was a graduate of Montevallo High School. She enjoyed scrapbooking, playing games and puzzles. She was a very faithful Christian and thrived to serve her Lord and her community. Above all she loved being with her family; laughing, and making jokes even laughing at her own jokes. Patti was a loving wife, mother and nana. She loved her grandbabies with all her heart.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, J.T. Loyd; children, Justin Loyd and Alexis Robles (Alex); grandchildren, Kaislyn, Aiden and Emilio; siblings, Larissa C. Benton, Michelle C. Kyzer (Steve), and Pamela C. Collum; and a host of nieces nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. in Ashby Cemetery.
