Rebecca Jean Smitherman

Rebecca Jean Smitherman, age 70, passed on Monday, August 4, 2025. She was a kind, caring, funny person who always tried to make everyone smile and laugh with her great sense of humor. She never meet a stranger. Rebecca enjoyed creating crafts, painting, decorating cake, and cooking. She was born on September 10, 1954, to her parents, Clyde and Jean Arnold, both have preceded her in death.

Rebecca is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jackie Smitherman and her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Pete Lott.

She is survived by her children, Samantha Smitherman, Chris Smitherman (Fran); granddaughters, Sabrina Lee, Christina McCrackin, Brianna McCrackin; grandsons, Christopher Smitherman, Andrew Smitherman; great granddaughter, Chloe Lee; great grandsons, Aiden Lee, Dylan McCrackin; niece, Patti Lott (Phil); and nephew, Mike Lott (Angela).

A visitation will be held at Charter Funeral Home on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Charter Funeral Home on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
