Jeffery Wayne Townsend

Jeffery Wayne Townsend, age 52, of Chelsea, AL passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at home due to natural causes. Jeffery was born in Birmingham, AL on November 27, 1972 and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1992. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 8 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Eugene Townsend; his mother, Elaine Marie Fortenberry Driver; and Stepfather, Larry Driver.

Jeffery is survived by his son, Daniel Townsend; and daughter, Ashli Pike Siebert (Nick); brother, Michael Townsend (Sherry); sisters, Pamela Brendler (Jeff), Beth Henning (Timothy); 5 nephews; a niece; many cousins; two stepbrothers, David Driver (Marti) and Justin Driver; and a lifetime friend Beverly Ferguson.

He had been employed with Norrell Service Experts for many years as a technician and a field supervisor.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Charter Funeral Home and Crematory, 2521 US Highway 31 Calera, AL 35040.
