Mildred Ann Knowles
Mildred Ann Knowles, age 82, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Alabaster, AL on December 9, 1942, to her parents William C. Hoggle Sr. and Rosa E. Hoggle, both have preceded her in death. Mildred is also preceded by her siblings, William C. Hoggle Jr., Johnny Hoggle, and Mary Alice Hoggle.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James Floyd Knowles; son, James Knowles (Christy); grandchildren, Will Knowles (Gabby) and Kimberly Knowles (Christopher); and great grandchildren, Carsyn Knowles, Camden Knowles, and Cameron Roper.
Services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Northside Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Mildred will be laid to rest in Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera, Al. Pastor Bill Collum will be officiating.
So deeply saddened to here of Mildred’s passing. We were friends in high school, went to Dargin Baptist Church together. She was a great comfort to me when my children went to Shelby Academy. My love and prayers go out to Jimmy , James and their family.
