Margaret Moore Linville

Margaret Moore Linville, 85 of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away March 18th 2024, at her assisted living facility.

She was born to the late G.C and Iva Belle Moore on November 3rd, 1938. Margaret graduated from Auburn university in 1961 with a major in Education and a Minor in Music. She went on to achieve her Master’s Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

After graduating Margaret taught school for several years. She became a mother and full-time caregiver in 1968, but continued to use her teaching degree and musical talent to be a piano teacher, choir teacher, Sunday school teacher, and even a youth group teacher. Margaret was deeply committed to her faith and her church, both in being a servant and a leader.

Margaret was predeceased by both parents, her sister Lanelle Lester, and her brother Sonny Moore. She is survived by her daughter Natalie Gregg and husband Shaun, her granddaughter Madison Gregg, her niece Susan Ashworth, and great nieces Amy and Allison, and her 6 nephews, Bill Lester, David Moore, Adam Moore, Joel Moore, Micah Moore and his wife and children, and Josh Moore and his wife and children.

Services will be held at Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church located at 6110 Deerfoot Parkway, Trussville, AL 35173 on Tuesday March 26th at 11:00AM with a lunch reception immediately following the service.
