Lorelai Maxine Ownbey

Lorelai Maxine Ownbey was born on Friday, December 12th at 9am. She passed peacefully in the arms of her parents, Daniel and Elisabeth, on December 14th at 8:15pm. 

Daniel and Elisabeth loved Lorelai from the moment they knew of her and cherished every moment they had with her. Although Lorelai’s life was a brief gift, the love for her and the memory of her will live on forever in their hearts. 

Lorelai is survived by her maternal grandmother and great-grandparents, Joan Taylor, and Jimmy and Dale Jernigan. Her paternal great-grandparents, Arthur and Maxine Ownbey. She leaves behind her uncles Matthew Ownbey, James Taylor, and Matthew Taylor (Brianna), and aunt Alayna Powell English (Kelley), and her three cousins, Asher, Lillian, and Beau. 

She was welcomed to her heavenly home by her maternal and paternal grandpas, Bobby Taylor and Mark Ownbey, who are cuddling and snuggling her for Daniel and Elisabeth.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Charter Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a service at 12 noon.
