Elise Reneé Woods

Elise Reneé Woods, of Calera, Al, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 40 on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the comfort of her own home. She had a beautiful spirit and soul, was easy to talk to, and could make anyone smile. She had a unique personality that was contagious and loved reading and tending to her plants. Elise was a devoted mother, a wonderful wife, and a loving daughter. She left us way too soon.

Elise is survived by her loving husband, Steven Ray Woods; son, Luke Ray Woods; mother, Deborah June McKenzie (Emory) of Fair Hope, AL; brother, Erik Christian Monson (Amanda) of Chesapeake, VA; uncle, Chris DeCubellis (Tracy) of Archer, FL; aunts, Donna Beatty (Brent) of Birmingham, AL and Dorothy DeCubellis of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Lisa Williams (Doug) of Gardendale, AL; cousins, Sarah Brooks (Mike), Jacob Beatty (Stephanie), and Rachel Warren (Alex); and her loyal fur baby, Bo Woods.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Charter Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Elise will be laid to rest in Salem Cemetery in Calera, AL immediately following the visitation. Her uncle, Dr. Chris DeCubellis will be officiating.
