Benjamin “Benje” Earl Evans

Benjamin (Benje) Evans, age 62 of Alabaster passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Madine Evans.

He is survived by his daughters Amber (Ren) Moon and Jasmine Moon; 1 aunt – Jeanette Butler, countless cousins and many friends that are considered family.

Benje was a “Simple Man” who loved all things outdoors to include but not limited to grilling, hunting, fishing, camping, campfires, hiking, farming, canoeing, and tubing.

He loved watching the sun rise and set, whether over a green field or a body of water.

Benje loved his girls dearly and would do anything for them.  He touched the hearts and lives of so many people and will be sorely missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at Oak Mountain State Park – Cedar Pavillion on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM.

Come and go as your schedule allows – dress for the outdoors (check the weather, this is Alabama)

Bring your own chairs, canopies, tables, etc.

We will have a cookout – with hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks. Feel free to bring your own food/drinks.

There is a small entrance fee to the park:

Ages 4-11         $2

Ages 12-62      $5

Ages 62+          $2
