Lamonya “Mona” Aleen Holsomback

Lamonya Aleen Majors Holsomback “Mona” age 79, of Maylene, Alabama passed away in the comfort of her own home on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She is preceded in death her parents, William Thomas and Alice Littlefield Majors; sons, William David Bullock, Jr., Robert Wayne Holsomback; and sister, Jean Chance.

Mona’s surviving relatives include her loving daughters, Alice Denice Latham of Shelby, Dolores Allen (Stanley) of Montevallo, and Ramona Thomas of Leeds; sister, Barbara Ann Gold of Alabaster; brothers, Kenneth Wayne Majors of Helena, and James Wesley Majors of Jemison; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services for Mona will be Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Charter Funeral Home. Her visitation will be at 10 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bailey’s Chapel Cemetery

    Aunt Lamonya was a great person anyone could love …She was excellent in everything she done …I LOVE AND MISS HER…
