Kathleen “Kathy” Carol Poulton

Kathleen “Kathy” Carol Poulton, age 76, of Calera, AL, peacefully passed away and joined the love of her life Thomas Poulton the morning of September 19, 2016.  She lived her life devoted to her children, Julie Godette (Dale) and Michael Poulton (Stephanie); spent countless hours filled with love and laughter with her grandchildren, Bailey, Kody, Amelia, Chloe and Aspen.  She was passionate about community service, charity work and dedicated her time helping others. Kathleen’s memory will forever live on in the many lives she has touched and special friendships she has built along the way.  Among many she leaves behind, her niece, Kara Burgess (Bruce) and traveling companion of Tucson Arizona and many other nieces, nephews and family members.
  Her parents, husband, sister Patricia and granddaughter, Jamie proceed her in death.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to New Beacon Hospice, 122 7th Avenue N.E., Alabaster, AL  35007. A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be 3 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Camp Branch United Methodist Church with a Fellowship to follow at the church. A Committal Service will be 10:15 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at Alabama National Cemetery.

    Julie , mike and your family members, my thoughts and prayers are surely with you during this difficult time. I loved your mom, (and dad) like family. I always looked forward to there visits.     What a loving tribute to a beautiful lady. She will always be remembered for her graciousness, extended thru her family and beyond. May God comfort the many hearts that must miss her so much already.
