Charles William Smack Jr., age 85 of Montevallo, passed away March 24, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eda Smack & Charles Smack Sr. and his sister, Marilyn Macias. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Mary Christopher Smack; his son, Charles Smack III; granddaughters, Isabel Smack, Corinne Smack and Alysee Smack; daughter, Tabitha Scoggins (Toby); grandsons, JC Scoggins (Melissa) and Devin Scoggins; granddaughter, Meghan (Brent); 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Alabaster on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m.

    My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah gives us a comforting thought when He tells us that soon death will be “swallowed up forever.” (1 Cor. 15:54) Along with this, Jehovah God also promises that ones who have died will be able to live again. (John 5:28,29) I hope these encouraging scriptures can bring you some comfort during this difficult time.
