Sara Evans Comer, age 85, of Calera, AL, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 19, 2015 surrounded by her family. Sara was a Member of Calera Baptist Church since she was 19 years old where she was very supportive with the church activities. She was G. A. and Junior Leader, but most of all she was a excellent Mother. She was redeceased by her parents, Richard and Jessie Evans. Her survivors include her daughter, Debbie Comer Horton (Ron); son, Jack “Van” Comer (Janis); grandchildren, Paige Kendrick (Sean), David Comer (Christina), Courtney Higdon (Jamie) and Candace Cleckley (Daniel); great grandchildren, Mia Kendrick, Danica Cleckley, Rivers Comer, Levi Higdon, Sawyer Higdon and Gabriel Comer and her caregivers, our Angels of Mercy, Peggy Shaw and Ruthie Buie. The family will receive friends,

Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Calera Baptist Church with a Funeral Service to follow at
