Sandra Raia
Sandra Raia, age 67 of Shelby, Alabama passed away on Dec.5, 2017. We will celebrate her life at her home at a later date per her wishes. Mrs. Raia was a member of Shelby Church of God. Mrs. Raia was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs.Raia is preceded in in death by her father James Allen Barnes her Mother Martha Carden and Brother William Carden. She is survived by her loving husband David Lee Raia Daughters Shelia Vickery,Bobbie Pool, Allison Thibodeaux and Son Charles Vickery Jr. Sisters: Dorothy White, Sharron Carden, Jane Ready. Brothers: James Allen Barnes Jr. and Michael Carden. Grandchildren: Brittani Donahoo, Heather Edwards, Brandi Smith, Kyndall Thibodeaux, Larry Wade Grammer, Trent Grubbs and Blake Thibodeaux. She had numerous great grandchildren, family and friends. She also leaves behind her faithful companion Pearl.
I love & miss you my sweet sister,my angel watching over us all.we will see each other again as we walk down those streets of gold holding hands again soon sis..I can see your beautiful with your beautiful angel wings.
My sweet sister in Christ, it has been an honor and a blessing knowing you for so many years you and your sweet husband have enhanced my life with many fond memories of meeting in my salon over haircuts conversation and lots of fun and laughter I have always loved you and I want you to know you will be terribly missed! But we have to remember that eternity time moves as a twinkling of the eye and very soon we will all be together again! Enjoy dancing the streets of gold, most of us are jealous! Cannot wait to see the face of my savior! We have to remember that the sorrow is with those of us left behind, those that have gone on have no sorrow and no pain just joy and eternal happiness! I love you dear sister!
