Roger Walton Hill
Mr. Roger Walton Hill, 83, of Jemison, AL passed away in his home on January 7th, 2020. He was the dear husband of Ms. Gayle Monroe Hill. They shared fifteen beautiful years of marriage together.
Roger was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 18th, 1936 to Mr. Walton Hill and Ms. Natalye Glass.
Roger is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gayle; his daughter, Madeleine Bayless (Rodney); two grandchildren, Lynnley Elaine and William Rodney Bayless, and stepsons Mike Monroe (Janelle) and Russell Monroe.
Roger graduated from Jemison High School in 1954. Roger belonged to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Roger will be remembered by his loved ones for his kind heart, giving spirit, infectious laugh, and sense of humor. Roger was loved dearly by all who knew and came into contact with him. Roger will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, friends, and his community.
The memorial service will be held at Clanton Kingdom Hall (2301 Yellow Leaf Rd, Clanton, AL 35045) on Sunday January, 12th beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Roger was an unbelievable man. He loved his wife, Gayle, like no other. I enjoyed every minute I was fortunate enough to spend with him. He never failed to make me laugh and smile. He will he deeply missed. My deepest love to Gayle, Mike, and Russell and the rest of Roger’s family.
