Roger “Pooh Bear” Dale Polk

Roger “ Pooh Bear” Dale Polk, age 65, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He enjoyed raising deer, hunting and anything to do with being outdoors.  He loved helping his community any way he could.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Booth; sister-in-law, Debra Polk; grandparents, Frank Garner Polk (Daisy), Joseph Elmer Polk (Lillie Mae); and stepmom, Peggy Polk.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Leigh Warren (Jeff); grandchildren, Tre Cunningham, Shawna Warren, Hunter Warren, Jackson Warren Riley Hayes, Waylon Hayes; father, Gene Polk Sr.; brothers, David Polk (Tina), Randy Polk (Vickie), Gene Polk Jr.; sisters, Debbie Cutts (Ronald), Tammy Pickett (Randy), Kathy Jo Polk, Betty Nord; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Charter Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.
