Cathey Ann Glasscock Phillips

Cathey Ann Glasscock Phillips, age 70, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, February 12, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 24, 1955, to her parents, Senior Glasscock and Katherine Glasscock, both have preceded her in death. Cathey is also preceded by her loving husband of 57 years, Luther Ray Phillips and brother, Jimmy Glass.

Cathey is survived by her daughters, Angie Phillips Glass (Leon) and Tamela Phillips-Lucas; sons, Jerry Phillips (Tracey) and Joey Phillips (Becky); grandchildren, Andrew Glass (Lindsay), Michael Lucas (Desiree), Carrie Beth Cracraft (Jordan), Emiley Glass, Brandon Phillips, Jay Lucas, Matthew Phillips (Taylor) Dalton Phillips, and Camden Phillips; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Doss, Mary Massenburg, Norma Isabell; and brother, Danny Glasscock.

Services will be held at Charter Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Cathey will be laid to rest in Shelby Memory Gardens. Brother David Roper is officiating.
