Ocye M. Harden

Ocye M. Harden, went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2016, was born in Nashville, Tennessee on January 12, 1932.  She was a longtime resident of Montevallo and a member of Kingwood church in Alabaster.  Her love for God was celebrated by all who knew her and her great love for her family and people will be her legacy. She is survived by her husband, Eric A. Harden; daughter Beverly (Buddy) Barrett; sons, Derek (Pam) Harden and Mike (Anita) Harden; stepdaughter, Vanessa (Bill) DeVane; brother, Bill (Peggy) Brent and a host of grandchildren and great Grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Ocye Harden will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Kingwood Church, 100 Harvest Way, Alabaster, AL.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service with burial following at Harless Cemetery. Pastor Ron Cox and Pastor Mark Sims will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kingwood Church Legacy Fund.
