Misty Michelle Whitley, age 43, of Alabaster, passed away January 26, 2018. Visitation will be held January 31, 2018 from 09:30 – 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Charter Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montevallo Cemetery. Misty is survived by her loving husband Greg Whitley; daughters, Brooklyn Whitley (fiancé, Adam Vaughn), and Abby Whitley; son Brett Whitley (Emily Hallmark); granddaughter, Piper Whitley; mother Joyce Edmonds; father & mother-in-law, Ronny & Dottie Whitley; sister Kristy Granthom (Greg); sister-in-law, Ginger Bentley (Travis); nephew Cole Bentley & niece, Lydia Bentley.  She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Edmonds.  Misty was an employee of the city of Alabaster for 18 years. Misty was always smiling with a contagious laugh.  She worked relentlessly, always putting others first. She loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed by many.
