Mary “Louise” Reach

Mary “Louise” Reach, of Centreville, AL passed away at the age of 88 on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 28,1937 to her parents, Richmond and Ola Moore, both have preceded her in death. Louise is also preceded by her loving husband, Marvin Jackson Reach and eight brothers and one sister.

Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She loved fresh flowers and visits from family. Early in life she enjoyed traveling (especially to the beach), canning vegetables, cooking, and serving at The Bread of Life Church. Louise spent the last 3 years at Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home. While there, she continued to enjoy getting her hair done, painting her nails, and receiving visits from her family. She was proud of her three daughters she had and the families they had built.  

Louise is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Crump (Jim), Sandra Howell (Charles), and Sharee Barnett (Mark); grandchildren, Rachel May (Dennis), Raven Andrews, Richmond Hall (Kassidy), Lawson Howell (Nancy), LaNee Weathers (Cory), Haley Walker (Chris), Jadey Barnett (Brooke), and Corey Barnett; sister Jeanette Crocker (Bert) and twelve great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Charter Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a service at 12 noon. Louise will be laid to rest in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Maylene, AL. Services are entrusted to Charter Funeral Home.
