Lawrence “Larry” Lombard

IMG95005511 Lawrence “Larry” Lombard, age 76, of Alabaster, AL, reached his life long desire to go home with the Lord,  Wednesday, March 2, 2016.  We are reminded of his absolute love for our Lord and Savior, he always put God first and now he is seeing Him face to face.  We have spent our lives listening  to what Papa called “Spiritual Nuggets”. We are the people we are today due to the influence and prayers he and Nana prayed and left us a rich  legacy of  Christ centered living and complete trust in The Great Creator.    Thank-you Papa, we will miss you immensely, but know we will see you soon. Larry was predeceased by parents, Rev. JL and Mary McClantoc Lombard and sisters, Annette Lombard Havard and Patricia Ann Lombard. His survivors include  his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ricketts Lombard; daughter, Mitzi Lombard Tatum (Randy); sons, Anthony Lawrence Lombard (Shirleen) and Jeffrey Scott Lombard (Deliska); sister, Dorothy Butler (James); grandchildren, Joshua Tatum (Allison), Jessica and  Caleb Tatum and Grace, Abigail, Faith, Judah, Benjamin and Kiersten Lombard; great grandchildren, Bryce Stanley and Jacob and Gabriel Tatum; brother-in-law, Thomas Havard; sister-in-law, Betty Lambert; traveling buddy/niece, Darlisa Lambert and a host of other nieces and nephews and other family members.  A visitation is 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2016 at Alabaster Church of God.  A Funeral Service is 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Church.
