Kristi Hollifield Deerman
Kristi Hollifield Deerman, age 50, of Montevallo, Al passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born on December 3, 1974, to her parents, Edward Earl Hollifield and Carol Ann Nelson. Kristi loved her job as Director of Montevallo Methodist Preschool and the precious babies that attended. She had an amazing love for the community of Montevallo and especially the children in it. Kristi loved watching her daughters cheer. Above all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and worshipping at Kingwood Church in Alabaster.
Kristi is preceded in death by her father, Edward Earl Hollifield and her stepfather, Oscar J. Dearman. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Deerman; daughters, Anna Kathryn Deerman and Caroline Jane Deerman; mother, Carol Dearman; and brothers, Robby Hollifield (Angie) and Joe Hollifield (Mechelle).
Services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025, a visitation will be held at New Life Baptist from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held in Pineland Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Brother Tim Simmons will be officiating, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any of these groups in Montevallo which Kristi was involved with, in her memory: Montevallo Methodist Preschool, Parnell Memorial Library, Montevallo Athletic Club, Montevallo Elementary School PTO, Montevallo Middle School PTO, or Montevallo High School PTO.
