Karen Karmel Slaughter

SlaughterKaren Karmel “Kay Kay” Slaughter, age 53, of Ashville, AL, formally of Columbiana, AL in Shelby County, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Her survivors include her mother, Sarah King Slaughter; sisters, Tami Alice Slaughter, Kenya Slaughter Walker, and Ettice Slaughter Wilson (Eric); brothers, Dr. Thomas Samuel Slaughter, III (Linda), Claude Garrett Slaughter (Sarah), and John Mack (Ginger); 10 nieces, 8 nephews, and a host of grand-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 12:00pm, Friday, July 24, 2015 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm.
