James Leon Dover

James Leon Dover, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 21, 2025. He was a member of Christian Mission Church. James grew up in Saginaw and resided in Montevallo. He was born on May 30, 1948, to his parents Havis and Mary Evelyn Dover both have preceded him in death. James is also preceded in death by brothers, Billy Dover and John “Rudy” Dover; sister-in-law, Brenda Dover; and son, David Dover.

He is survived by daughters, Erin Reynolds (Josh) and Joy Howell; grandsons, Luke Patterson, Will Howell, Cade Howell; granddaughter, Isabella Howell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
