Herman Leslie Hester, age 62, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 in Alabaster, Al. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Margie Hester, and his brother-in-law Earl Templin. Herman is survived by his son, Michael Moncrief (Elizabeth); daughter, Julie Ann Spain Moncrief; grandchildren, Michelle Davis, Katie Gortney, Michael A. Moncrief, and Logan Moncrief; great granddaughter, Trinity Moncrief; sister Linda Sue Hester Templin; brothers, James David Hester Jr. (Barbara) and Jimmy Roy Hester (Lora Ann) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, January 18, 2020. Visitation will be held at 3pm and a service to follow at 4 pm.
