Shawn Benton and I want to extend our deepest sympathy to the entire Roy family regarding the loss of “Little George” your beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to everyone he met. We are praying for God’s love to cover you and for Him to give all of you the strength to get through the upcoming days, weeks, and years without your loved one. Little George was an amazing friend to everyone that he came in contact with and he would help anyone no matter if he knew you personally or you were just an acquaintance. It is for sure that he will be missed by many.

Little George was so much a part of high school life for many of us. Always willing to give a hug when needed. A great loss for those who knew and loved him but a great gain for Heaven. My prayers and thoughts are with the Roy family.

To Mr. Roy, Miss Betty,Barbra, Doris , James Richard and all of little George’s family. My family would like to extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. I grew up with little George until the 6th grade when I moved away. We were best friends as was my brother Michael and James Richard were. Only 20 miles and about 45 years separated us but I finally ran into him and his son in town one day recently. We huged and talked for a few minutes and and was planning on going to see him and his parents. So glad I got to see my best childhood friend one more time but sad that I didn’t take the time to go catch-up on the last 45 years. Loved you like a brother.
