Garnell  Jones

Garnell  Jones, age 88, of Chelsea, AL, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, George Pelham Jones; son, Thomas Granville Jones and  parents, Archie and Lou Emma Pickle. Her survivors include her children, Barbara Wood, Paul Jones (Marty), William David Jones (Rachel), Jerome Jones (Wynette); Sandra Millar (Danny) and Shelly Wilbanks; sister, Ruth Butler; daughter-in-law, Susan Jones  and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her children describe her as a loving wife,  mother, grandmother, aunt who was adored by many. A visitation will be 10-11 am, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Church on Hwy 36 in Chelsea, AL with a Funeral Service to follow at the church.  A Committal Service will be  in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Manenon Brasher is officiating the services.   Charter Funeral Home is directing.
