Eugene Lawley

September 28, 1940 – May 31, 2019

Eugene Lawley, age 78, of Centreville, AL, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty “Pat” Lawley; son, Tim Lawley; grandson, Lance Lawley; granddaughter, Hannah Bass; and brother, E.C. Lawley.  Eugene is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Benton (Kelvin), Debbie Yearber (David), April Polk (Robert); son, Larry Lawley (Sissy); grandsons, Kelvin Benton, Jr. (Alicia), Matthew Benton (Amanda), Brandon “Bubba” Bass, Justin Lawley; granddaughters, Shae Lawley, Emily Polk, and Skyler Polk; and 8 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed immediately with a funeral service, both held in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Lawley Family Cemetery.  Pastor Junior Whitfield officiating. www.charterfuneral.com
