Debbie Ann Laster, of Pontotoc, Mississippi, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 in Alabaster, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Hutchinson and Della Moody; brother, Roger Hutchinson; and sister, Amanda Moody. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Laster; daughters, Shannon Scurlock (Glenn) and Kelly Laster (Jason); sons, James Smith Jr. (Jessica), Timothy King (Caroline), Randall King (Kortney), Christopher Laster (Jessica), and Chuck Laster; A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Larson (Robert), Sheila Green (William), Ramona Hutchinson (Bruce Langston), Rhonda Stanton (Hank), Aries Moody, and Elizabeth Richardson (Kenny); brothers, James Hutchinson (Amanda) and Sam Hutchinson (Regina). Debbie’s services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 1 p.m., and will be held at Ashmore Freewill Baptist Church.

    Words may fail to capture how you feel at the loss of losing your loved one. The Bible speaks of a time when death will be no more at Revelation 21:4. May God bring comfort to friends and family not only now but as you cope in the days ahead.

    She is and was absolutely amazing,kind,loving,caring and always welcoming to everybody.I love her bunches,she was a huge part of my childhood…She may be gone but never forgotten…
