Charles Arnold Woods

Charles Arnold Woods, age 82 of Calera, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018.  He is survived by his son, Gregory Woods (Laura); daughters, Lorrie Lewis (Richard) and Gena Bolton (Ronnie); grandsons, Stephen Moody (Erin), Daniel Moody (Kelly), David Bolton (Hannah), Jonathan Woods (Jeanie); granddaughters, Bethany Moody, Madelynn Woods; and great grandchildren, Emma Moody, Logan Moody and Ava Jean Woods.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Peggy Woods and his parents, Murray and Georgia Woods.  There will be a visitation on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m., immediately followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., both held at the chapel of Charter Funeral Home.  Brother Ken Stroup officiating.  Burial will be in the Alabama National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  No graveside services.

    Dear Lorrie, Gena and Greg and family: Our love and

    saying “goodbye” to your Dad. I have been thinking
