Carol D. Powe
Carol D. Powe, age 75, of Maylene, Al passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, April 5, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joy A. Langevin and Wilfred A, Langevin and sister, Sharon D. Turner. Carol is survived by her loving husband, James D. Powe; children, Christina Wright (Jimmy), Lorie McRee (Jamey) Michael Powe (Pam), Brian Powe (Alicia), and Jennifer Newman (Chris); grandchildren, Kristin Pantoja (Jacob), Taylor Belding (Joshua), Jacob Wright, Natalie Hope (Adam), Wyatt McRee (Keona), Logan Powe (Jenna), Abigail Powe, Halie Powe, Christopher Newman (Charlie), Hayden Newman (Mady), Christian Simmons, and Destiny Lowe (Michael); great grandchildren, Malakhi Weston (Ashlyn), Hannah Weston, Harper Riley, Granger Pantoja, Ridley Riley, Willow Pantoja, Oakleigh Pantoja, Vannleigh Pantoja, and Mavis Belding; and great great grandchildren, Adalyn Weston and Oaklynn Newman.
Funeral services will be held at Charter Funeral Home with a visitation held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10 am. A service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11 am. Carol will be laid to rest in Dargin Cemetery. Brother Matthew Hilyer will be officiating.
Dennis and Family, Louise and I are so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. Carol was a very loving person and I know will be missed by all. I can remember being with you when you first met Carol and it was love at first sight. I know you are heart broken and we will keep you and family in or prayers.
