Billy Ray Compton

 Billy Ray Compton, age 74, of Montevallo, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017.   He lived a full life  and was adored by his children, grandchildren and many friends.  He was predeceased by his wife, Jackie Compton.  His survivors include his children, Doug Compton and Terri  Compton; grandchildren, Clayton Compton (Megan), Hayden Compton, Kyle Purvis and Braden Compton; great grandson, Cade Compton and a host of other family members.  A visitation will be 11-12 noon, Friday, May 12, 2017 with a Funeral Service to follow, both at Charter Funeral Home.
