James Edward Patrick, Jr.

James Edward Patrick, Jr. of Birmingham, Al, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 39 on Friday, September 4, 2026.  James walked his own path, stayed true to who he was, and left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though he is gone, the music, memories, and love he shared will continue to echo in our hearts.

James is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Angela Patrick (Leland Cooper) and James Patrick (Connie); siblings, Jamelle Northcutt, Stefanie Harris (Neal), and Thomas Patrick; He is also survived by numerous hosts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at Charter Funeral Home and Crematory. A visitation will begin at 2 p.m. followed by a service beginning at 3 p.m.  In lieu of flowers please consider donating to “Out from Under Sober Living” @claris-gibson in James’ name.
