David Wallace Graham

David Wallace Graham, lovingly known as “Poppy”, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. He was born and raised in Shelby County, Alabama. He loved watching the Auburn Tigers play football and spending time at the lake. He enjoyed gardening and reading too. Many will remember David from the years he and Debbie spent owning and running the Smoke Shop in Pelham. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Willie Mae Graham, and step-daughter, Mandi Huey. David is survived by his wife, Debbie Graham; his daughter, Allison Irvin (Matthew); his granddaughter, Savannah; as well as extended family members including Oliver and Noah. 

A visitation will be held at Charter Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 5, 2026, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Sending love and deepest condolences to Mrs. Debbie Graham and family. Mr. Graham was a remarkable man who loved his family, cherished his animals, and passionately supported his Auburn Tigers!! I have such great memories of visiting your family, where every moment felt like a warm embrace instead of work. May your peace and strength increase during this challenging time.
