Tina Marie Compton Dobbs

Tina Marie Compton Dobbs age 57, of Montevallo passed into her eternal home on Friday, December 29, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Tina was a true warrior, and the strongest person in her fight with cancer for 14 years. She loved her catering company called “Life of the Party”, and was very successful with her own cleaning company. Tina loved her family to the dirt road and back; her friends meant everything to her they were just like her family. “She loved the life she lived, she lived the life she loved. “

She was preceded in death by her parents, Junior Compton and Sherry Ann Roberts Rice. Tina’s surviving relatives include her husband, Marty Dobbs; step children, Lindsey Dobbs and Patrick Dobbs; sister, Lisa Compton; aunt, Teresa Ellison; best friend, Lolly Harris; nephew, Matthew Wilmer; cousins, Melissa Brasher and Debra Wilson; sister-in-law, Vicki Dobbs Skidmore; brother-in-law, Ken Dobbs; and father-in-law, Van Dobbs.

Visitation for Tina will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Enon Baptist Church in Montevallo from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Enon Baptist Church in Montevallo at 2 p.m. She will lie-in-state one hour prior to her services with Bro. Shannon Allen officiating. Burial to follow in the Enon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Charter Funeral Home of Calera handling arrangements for the family.
