Sharon Ann Hood

Sharon Ann Hood, age 78, passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 2, 1944, to her loving parents, Paul Sr., and Esther Findley, both have preceded her. She is also preceded by her brothers, Paul Findley Jr, Shorty Findley, and Melvin Findley. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Elson Hood; daughters, Kimberly Page (Billy Joe) and LaJunta Hood; grandsons, Richard Marcus, Bradley, Aiden, and Trent; and great grandchildren, Marcus, Shakyra, Tira, Ian, Iryanna, Nijee, Kimber-Ray, Nick, Tristan, and Jade. Services for Sharon will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Ashby Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at 11 am followed by a service at 12 pm. She will be laid to rest in Ashby Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Stallings and Rev. Charles Hood will be officiating.
