Ronald Collins Bishop

Ronald Collins Bishop, age 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly on October 7,2025.  Ron (Ronnie) loved God and his church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, water sports, and teaching others to enjoy them as well. Ron also enjoyed working on cars and was learning about dirt bikes. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Lawson Bishop Jr. and Annelle Collins Bishop.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Janet Bishop; children, Christina Lee Bishop, Steven Kip Bishop (Katelyn), John Jones Bishop; grandson, Kohen Rhett Bishop; brother-in-law, Paul Jackson (Dottie) and sister -in-law, Martha Mims (Michael). 

A celebration of Ron’s life will be on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Mountain Brook Baptist Church sanctuary with a reception to follow.
