Robert “Harold” White
Robert “Harold” White, 84, of Alabaster, AL passed from this life to be with our Lord on July 31st, 2024. He was born in Birmingham on February 8, 1940.
He was a Godly man, a husband, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather, an army veteran and a die hard Auburn fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Vorris White and his sisters Dot Chaffin, Bonnie Johnson and Beverly White.
He is survived by his wife Misty, his sons Bobby White and his wife Pam, Michael White and his wife Michelle, and Jeremy Wiedow. He also had 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
Harold served our country in the Army before beginning his professional career. After the Army, he was an award winning pharmaceutical salesperson for Marion Labs and later started his own pharmaceutical company, here in Birmingham, Alamed Labs. He worked with Misty in tropical plant leasing and maintenance for many years. After retirement, he served the county as a school bus aide for special needs students. He also worked weekends selling nutritional products and Biblical items at festivals. The first question he would ask as customers would approach is “Do you know Jesus?” He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Harold’s services will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home in Calera, Alabama. A time of visitation will be held that day starting at 10:00 a.m., with his service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo with a time of committal to start at 12:30 p.m. Charter Funeral Home of Calera, Alabama will be handling his arrangements.
Thank you for all that you did to train me for life, to train me for parenthood, and for an ethical work history! I love you for all of the ah-ha moments that you helped me experience! I will always love you Dad!
