Rebecca Ann “Becky” Mitchell

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Mitchell, age 66 of Shelby, Alabama, passed away on December 4, 2022. Born to Vivian and Paul Turquitt, both have preceded her. She is also preceded by brothers, Melvin and David Turquitt; and granddaughter Amber Parks. Becky is survived by her loving husband, Luther Eugene Mitchell; daughters, Lynn Mitchell (Michael), Tracey Mitchell (Heathe) Keela Teal, and Nita Morris; sons, Perry Mitchell and Paul Mitchell; grandchildren, Tori Mitchell (Jacquan Buie), Chase Reinhardt (Megan), Chandler Mitchell, and Jada Mitchell; sisters, Janice Turquitt, Katie Turquitt, Bonnie Turquitt; and sisters-in-law, Marsha Turquitt, Diane Posey Brasher and Lisa Waldrop.

 A celebration of life for Becky will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will begin at 2 pm followed by a service at 3 pm.
