Norma “Jean” Niswander

Norma “Jean” Niswander age 77 of Randolph, AL passed away August 4, 2024. Jean is survived by her loving husband, William Niswander; sister, JoAnn Smith (Jerry); brother, David Fancher; niece, Ronda Vowell (Scott); niece, Amy Eaton; nephew, Clayton Smith (Briana); and a host of great nephews and great-great nephews; great nieces; great-great nieces; and her lifelong friend, Brenda Helton Cummings. She is preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Wilma Fancher.

Jean loved the lord and her family. She loved to cook, sew and loved tending to her flowers.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with a service starting at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colby Vowell, Tyler Vowell, Taylor Eaton, Drew Smith, Brody Barnett, and Jack Barnett.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Crystal Baker with Home Health, The doctors and nurses at Shelby Hospital, The staff at Enhabit Home Health and Hospice, Kelson Cole with Home Health, Dr. Richardson and staff at Bibb Medical Center, and special friend Rose Chapman.

    I love Mrs. Jean she was a very sweet and kind hearted person, she was a joy to be around and I know her family will miss her greatly, go rest high on that mountain Jean we all will see you on the other side when are time comes.
