Melvin Ray Holley

Melvin Ray Holley, age 72, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, Friday, February 3, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 28, 1950 to his loving parents Grover and Cora Holley, both have preceded him. Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Holley; children, Joseph Holley (Sandra), Rebecca Atchison, and Daniel Holley (Crystal); sisters, Pat, Mary and Ann; 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. Melvin will be laid to rest in City Memorial Cemetery in Throsby, AL. Brother Ronnie Porter will be officiating.
