Lindsey Hendrix Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lindsey Hendrix Davis, age 33, whom passed from this walk of life on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Lindsey left this world far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and adventure.
Born with a heart that was both sympathetic and deeply empathetic, Lindsey devoted her life to helping others. Since 2014, she worked as a licensed funeral service professional, serving families in their hardest moments with dignity and care.
Lindsey had a love for the outdoors and never shied away from adventure. She found joy in hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring the unknown—she even leapt from the sky once on a skydiving trip, just to feel the thrill of life at its fullest.
She is survived by her beloved son, Vincent Davis (15), who was her greatest pride and joy; her parents, Tammy and Mark Smith; her father, Phillip Hendrix; her sisters, Tiffany Howard (Ryan) and Kendall Smith; her niece, Kennedi Howard; her loving boyfriend, Brandon George and a host of friends and family that will forever miss her. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, who passed just 17 days before; Tommie Mitchell Boothe and her paternal grandmother, Betty Hendrix with whom Lindsey is now reunited with.
To know Lindsey was to love her. She lived with a selfless heart, always eager to give and support others in any way she could. Her laughter, adventurous spirit, and deep love for her family and friends will forever be cherished.
Praying for her family, friends, everyone who knew and loved her that the Lord will give them the peace that passes all understanding and comfort them.
Lindsey, you will be missed by the staff of FFC and CFF. Rest easy, sweet girl.
I lived and shared a room with Lindsey during her time in Chattanooga and I am truly heart broken by this. She was the one that made sure everyone was ok, fed, and was a light to a dark room. She will be truly missed, I don’t even have the words to express how much of an impact she made on people, I pray for her family and her son during this difficult time.
