Kristina Andrews Godbold

GodboldKristina “Tina” Andrews Godbold, age 37, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, died, after a long illness at her home in Calera, Alabama. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Charter Funeral Home in Calera, AL. We don’t know why God chose this moment in your young life to take you, but we do know that we’ve lost a precious part of our family. We can close our eyes and still see your sweet smile, and in silence, still hear your quiet voice. And in our hearts we’ll always feel your presence and love. You had such a beautiful gift of writing and many times that’s the way you were able to express your feelings. You could make us laugh out loud and, at times, bring tears to our eyes. But you always wrote from your heart and were able to show us what a beautiful person you were. Your love for your family was never questioned. We will miss our sweet Tina and will never forget how much love and joy she gave to each of us. Tina was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was an avid animal lover. Her pets were part of her family and she loved them dearly. She graduated from Central High School in Tuscaloosa and attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was employed at Synovus in Homewood, Alabama as a Technical System Analyst. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Odell Andrews and Woodrow and Billie Ruth Skelton and aunt, Patricia Coleman. Survivors include her husband, Robert D. “Bold” Godbold of Calera, AL; children, Emily Godbold and Bruce Godbold of Calera, AL; parents, Michael and Linda Andrews of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister, Amy Faulk of Helena, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Teresa Andrews of Tuscaloosa, AL; nieces and nephew, Ashlyn Faulk, Nathan Faulk and Haleigh Faulk of Helena, Al; father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.
