James William Langley

James William Langley, age 97, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020.  Mr. Langley is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Loraine Langley.  He is survived by his son, Lance Langley (Sue); daughter, Denise Deese (Phil); daughter Sherrie Lutz (George); daughter, Rhonda Green (Calvin); daughter, Mony Bratton; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.  Mr. Langley proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He will be laid to rest in the Alabama National Cemetery.  Services to be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Charter Funeral Home entrusted.
