Gary “Wade” Rowland
Gary “Wade” Rowland, age 56, of Centreville passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was born July 29, 1969, to his parents, Billy Joe Rowland and Ellen Elizabeth Hubbard Rowland both have preceded him in passing.
Wade enjoyed spending time at the beach, off-road rides, playing “Rook”, and cherished time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Hollie Rowland and Julea Rowland; sister, Dawn Randolph (Jeff); and grandson, Dawson Swindle.
A service honoring the life of Wade will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.at Haysop Baptist Church, officiated by Tim Simmons. Visitation will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Haysop Cemetery following service.
Pallbearers are David Hallman, Drew Downs, Wayne Earl Davidson, Greg Horton, Jason Fancher, and Shane Whaley.
Wade was a sweet soul that went beyond his past. He truly loved his sister Dawn and his children. Rest in peace Wade!

Wade was one of our neighbors when we were kids. We all went to church together. I remember we had VBS this one year and we had Roger Kinard as our teacher. At the end of our lesson Roger asked us all to bow our heads and close our eyes. He asked if there were any that didnt know where they would spend eternity, three people that night raised their hand. Roger prayed with those 3 people and each gave their life to the Lord. Wade was one of those three. I am praying for his family during their loss.
