Gary Clayton Lucas, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Gary enjoyed playing the guitar, banjo and mandolin. He also loved to garden. He is preceded in death by Thomas Pat Lucas, Jewel Marie Lucas, Thomas Clayton Lucas, and Darlene Smitherman.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Beverly Ann Lucas; children, Billy Wayne Lucas, Brittney Ann Lucas, Felicia Ann Lucas; grandchildren, Dakota Marie Wilson, Chyanne Renee Lucas, Patience Marie Hill, Cadence William, Thomas Barbour, Timothy James Lucas; sisters, Virginia Ann Arthur, Patricia Boyd, and Donna Marie Tonnemacher.

A visitation for Gary will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Old Union Baptist Church starting at 12:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 1:00p.m. He will be laid to rest at Old Union Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Clark Thompson will be officiating.
