Dalwyn Larry Holcombe

Dalwyn Larry Holcombe, age 86, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Thursday, March 7, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Birmingham, AL on May 11, 1937 to his parents, Edith Hand Holcombe Morgan and Hermus R. Holcombe, both have preceded him in death. Dalwyn is also preceded by his brothers, Gary Holcombe and Duane Holcombe; and sister, Yvonne Holcombe Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Missy Vaughn Holcombe; son, Sean Holcombe (Sonia); daughter, Morgan Carolea Holcombe Tidwell (Jarod); sisters, Sharon Garrison and Shawn Holcombe Boroughs (Kevin); and brothers, Dale Holcombe (Donna) and Daymon Holcombe (Susan); and grandchildren, Nadia, Noland, and Noah Holcombe.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. Dalwyn will be laid to rest in Pilgrim’s Rest/ Hand Cemetery in Columbiana, AL.
