Charles Richard Blackmon, age 58 of Helena, AL passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016.  He was predeceased by his parents, Nathan Carter Blackmon, Sr. and Mary Blackmon; 3 sisters and 1 brother. His survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Blackmon; sons, Jason Ryan Blackmon (Megan) and Adam Carter Blackmon; brother, Nathan Blackmon, Jr. (Susan); sister, Janie Kendrick (Gilbert) and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Charter Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home.
