Judy Ann Elrod Thomaston

Judy Ann Elrod Thomaston, age 80, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents Homer Arant and Byron and Maxon “Nana” Elrod, and brother in law, Kenneth Helms. Judy is Survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Samuel “Sam” Thomaston; daughters Patti Ryan (James) and Pamela Alston; son, Steve Thomaston (Lisa); 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and sisters, Sandra Pappas (Byron) and Carol Helms. Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Amazing Grace Worship Center. A visitation will be held at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am. Judy will be laid to rest in the Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 pm. Pastor Keven Blankenship to officiate.
