Nelda Sue Goings, age 90 passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 in Northport, Al. She is preceded by her loving husband, William Raymond Goings; parents, Luther and Alice Jones; and children, Gregory Stephen Goings (Debbie) and Alicia Marie Holt (Roger). Nelda is survived by her sister, Carol Sellers (E.J.); grandchildren Maria Christina Lippincott (Kris), Sarah Elizabeth Bates (Jarrod), Stephanie Suzanne Gambill (Derek), Jessica Suzanne Lewis (Brett), John Gregory Louis Goings, and Jonathan William Holt; great grandchildren, Isabella Layne Bates, Preston Alexander Goings, Julianna Elisa Bates, Abigail Hope Bates, Lennox Kristopher Lippencott, Roman James Gambill, and Asa Gregory Gambill. A graveside service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery, Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 1:15 pm.
