Michael Wayne Erwin

Michael Wayne Erwin, age 72, passed away in the comfort of his own home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 17, 1953, to his parents Alfred and Betty K. Erwin, both have preceded him in death. Michael is also preceded by his son, Michael A. Erwin

Michael loved to work on diesel trucks and anything he could do to work with his  tools. He worked for Carmeuse Lime Plant as their mechanic and maintenance man, retiring after 44 years of devotion.  Micheal is now in his forever home with all the toolboxes he could every want; working on all the diesel trucks and drinking as many  mountain dews he could handle.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Erwin; sons, Carl Ewrin and Scottie Erwin; daughter, Ginger Erwin; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
